چکیده
The purpose of this study was to investigate the occurrence Cryptosporidium infection and potential for transmission spp. between animals humans in northern Vietnam. A total 2715 samples (2120 human diarrheal samples, 471 non-diarrheal 124 animal stool samples) were collected through our community survey an agricultural area. All tested by direct immunofluorescence assay (DFA) using a fluorescent microscope. DNA extraction, PCR amplification three genes (COWP, SSU-rRNA, GP60), sequencing analysis performed identify Of 15 (10 2 3 positive COWP gene. Three species identified as C. canis (from six two one dog sample), hominis four samples), suis pig amplified and/or SSU-rRNA genes. In terms hominis, GP60 subtype IeA12G3T3 detected all samples. Although number very small, epidemiological data showed that emerging pattern each (C. canis, suis) different at site. While only respectively, from both dogs humans. We suspect infections site may be due environmental contamination with feces.

Epidemiology of Cryptosporidium Infection of Cattle in Kerman/Iran and Molecular Genotyping of some Isolates
Background & Aims: Cryptosporidiosis is one of the most important parasitic zoonoses of human and animals. This infection is common in mammals and caused by the coccidian parasites of the genus Cryptosporidium. The Present study was designed to determine the epidemiology of Cryptosporidium infection in cattle in Kerman by using conventional morphological as well as molecular methods for molecul...
متن کاملReadiness, Availability and Utilization of Rural Vietnamese Health Facilities for Community Based Primary Care of Non-communicable Diseases: A Cross-Sectional Survey of 3 Provinces in Northern Vietnam
Background Vietnam’s network of commune health centers (CHCs) have historically managed acute infectious diseases and implemented national disease-specific vertical programs. Vietnam has undergone an epidemiological transition towards non-communicable diseases (NCDs). Limited data exist on Vietnamese CHC capacity to prevent, diagnose, and treat NCDs. In this paper, we assess NCD service r...
متن کاملMolecular characterization of Cryptosporidium spp. from HIV infected patients from an urban area of Brazil.
Cryptosporidium spp. are important cause of enteric disease in humans, but may also infect animals. This study describes the relative frequency of several Cryptosporidium species found in human specimens from HIV infected patients in the São Paulo municipality obtained from January to July 2007. Sequence analysis of the products of nested-PCR based on small subunit rRNA and Cryptosporidium oocy...
